FAQ
Clear answers on licensing, compliance, process, and partnership.
Do you hold a UK arms brokering licence?
Yes. Our company is authorised to operate as a broker in the defence market; we are currently pursuing licensing to also handle equipment directly. We operate under licences OGE2026/000440 and OGE2026/000430.
What documents and compliance checks do you require on every transaction?
Whenever trading controlled equipment, we always require a valid EUC, invoice, air waybill (or equivalent), and the appropriate licences. We also carry out checks to confirm we are permitted to operate in both the destination and origin countries.
How long have you operated in this sector, and which partners or manufacturers have you worked with?
Our registered address in London — our headquarters — was registered earlier this year, but we have been operating in Brazil for two years in this market.
Which countries are you authorised to operate and broker transactions in?
All routes permitted under our licence. We do not trade with countries that are blacklisted or sanctioned by the United Kingdom.
What does the process look like from first contact to a closed order?
Our commercial team provides full support from first contact through to product selection, NDA, payment, batch organisation with partners and freight forwarders, tracking, and after-sales support.
Do I need to sign an NDA to access the full catalogue?
No. Our catalogue is open to everyone. An NDA is only signed once negotiations are progressing further, to protect both companies.
How does a partnership work for manufacturers or suppliers looking to sell through you?
Manufacturers interested in partnering with Pancotte Import & Export Ltd are always welcome to get in touch. Interested parties can reach us by email to discuss exclusivity, commission, and commercial terms.
How does the quoting process work?
Send us the products you are interested in, the quantity, and the initial documentation requested by our team. This may include an arms import authorisation, company registration, and an EUC.
Is every transaction formalised through a contract?
Yes. Every transaction is logged in our system with both invoices and brokering contracts between the parties. We take regulatory compliance seriously and always work to ensure that proper order is maintained.
